NDIS v. RAS

Hi, There is an option to change from NDIS (the default) to RAS in the Huawei mobile partner software branded by our local operator here in Ireland (O2) and shipped with the Huawei E1752. Does anyone know if changing from NDIS to RAS affects the upload, download speeds or latency in any way? I've tried both settings to Speedtest.net but my results are inconclusive probably because of marginal coverage where I am.

Hi,
According to my experience, in NDIS mode transfer speed depends very much on a power of a computer.
On my 500 MHz sub-notebook, a download speed in NDIS mode was 10 times lower than in RAS mode.
On my desktop PC with Core 2 Duo processor, a transfer speed was the same in both modes.
