Soft and hard method does not work - wrong SIM?
Hello together,
I tried first the soft method but afterwards Join Air told me "ungültige (U) SIM" (should be in English: invalid (U) SIM)... Then I thought its maybe the firmware and I did the hard method - everything ok but again the message mentioned above. So I think could it maybe the SIM? I have got one from Netzclub.net (Subcompany of O2, Germany). Thanks for your help!

did it the "hard way", now no driver installed! just the CD-drive and
Hi,
I unbranded my K3565-Z the hard way which worked fine!!! now when I plug the device into a fresh PC I get the Join Air software installed, but no modem driver. I also have no yellow device in my device manager. when I install the vodafone software out of the backed up iso file it works! the I can use also the Join Air software. but as soon as I uninstall voafone or only have the Join Air installed it does not find my device.
I tried: - install the driver manaly out of the program dir (USBdriverinstaller_x86.exe) - installed the driver msi fle - rebootet a thousand times - pluged the device in all differnt USB-slots I have. nothing helped.
any ideas anybody?
regards Frank

Win7 Drivers
Debranding worked fine and easy with the Guide.
Under a Win7 machine Join Air installs but driver assistant is not able to find any drivers. Not on the flashMem nor the HDD of the system. Are there any special Win7 drivers or a way to modify the installation routine to enforce installation of drivers.

Huawei version
The text above suggests that the ZTE version was produced in 2009. However, when I bought mine in late 2009 it turned out to be a Huawei version. Not only did it have "Rev 2" after the "K3565" model number but it also had "Huawei technologies Co" printed on it, which helps ID it a lot!
