The Vodafone Pay As You Go is a real bargain if you don't use your dongle much. For £30 - £39 (depending on where you buy it) you get a K3565 modem plus 1GB credit. The real bargain is that this credit does not expire! Unlike all other PAYG deals Vodafone allow you to roll over unused credit month to month. The nearest competitors like 3, T-Mobile and Orange just buys you a month's useage. The Vodafone dashboard allows you to check how much credit you have left. You have to buy your extra GB in blocks of £15. I've had mine for about 6 months and have only used £2 worth for the odd email and browsing. If you only use your USB modem a little this could last you all year, saving up to £150 compared with £10 a month with 3. The only stipulation that Vodafone has is that you should use the modem at least once within every 180 days (other sites say 270 days). I can't find this on Vodafone's site any more but other sites are still selling it. Tesco have it at £25 (below)
