Does anyone have any suggestions for a modem that is compatible with both android and AT&T (bands 2 and 5 for 3G and 12 and 2 for LTE).
Thanks, I have no problem finding ones compatible with the right bands but android compatibility is a shot in the dark.

Getting very confused.
Is there a difference between Huawei E3131 and Huawei E3131s-2
and will either work with T-Mobil in the United States?

Debranding worked fine and easy with the Guide.
Under a Win7 machine Join Air installs but driver assistant is not able to find any drivers.
Not on the flashMem nor the HDD of the system.
Are there any special Win7 drivers or a way to modify the installation routine
to enforce installation of drivers.

Hello, I first could sucessfully flash my Huawei E303S stick with a free standard firmware so all provider restrictions were gone.
Everything worked so far, but there was a little problem. The menu of the stick was very slow. It wasn't even really fast with the original provider firmware but now with all options it was really slow when you go through the options. I checked the informations of the stick the software version was the same like the one from my provider but the WebUI was newer now version 12 before it was version 11.
So I flashed again this time a little older firmware, but now the problems began. With the new flashed firmware I can't access HiLink over 192.168.1.1, when I plug-in the stick the PC recognizes the stick, but it doesn't open the browser with HiLink or start to install the software. Under computer the stick is shown as a cd-drive with all the software and files on it.
I have got a backup from Huawei Flash 1.6 with the older firmware is there a way to bring the stick into com-mode again to flash the old firmware again or is it broken now ?

Hi ,
I want to attach Huawei dongle with ipv6.PDN Type ipv6.
I am giving the following commands
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IPV6","APN"
AT+CFUN=1 or AT+CGATT=1
On entering these commands dongle is sending IPV4 not IPV6 please let me know how to do ipv6 attach with this dongle.

A Wi-Fi Portable Router? When would I find myself in need of one of those? Many of you may be thinking hmmm, can’t I just use my phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Yes, yes you can, but there are definitely some pros and cons you’ll want to think about before doing so.
That’s a great question. While tethering can be an option for some users to use their smartphone’s 3G/4G 3g wifi routerconnection and create a personal Wi-Fi hotspot there are some cons to consider.
Using the Wi-Fi AC750 Portable Router and Charger (DIR-510L) provides you with several benefits, that certainly outweigh most (if not all) of the cons you’ll be considering above.
The Wi-Fi Portable Router is most commonly meant for usage while traveling, most connections will be with Wi-Fi enabled devices 3g wireless router and the broadband connection (if Ethernet based) will be the bottleneck. Therefore, a 10/100 Ethernet port connection will be more than sufficient for an Ethernet connection from a hotel room. Did you know the average home broadband connection speed is 10Mbps (or less)? Dear experts ,
Kindly , I need your support regarding strange issue I face with my HUAWEI 3G USB modem Model E173, which support voice calls. When I use Huawei mobile partner and make phone calls to another mobile phone , I hear voice clearly into my laptop speakers. But when the mobile phone user on the other side pushes any mobile Phone keypad , I can "NOT" hear DTMF tone into my laptop speakers.
I went to another place (40 kilometer away) , and run Mobile Partner again , now when I call the same mobile Phone , I can hear the DTMF tone when the Mobile phone user clicks any of the keypad.
Now it seems that this is a network issue.ie, both places are different , eg 2G/3G , and that one location does not permit to send DTMF data.
I can resolve this issue by properly setting the device configuration. But I need first to understand what is the difference.
One last thing , when I try this case in the first scenario , where the DTMF signal is not sent , I tried to play Audio file from my MP3 play , and it is sent over network and heard. Also , I face same issue with my Huawei K3765 usb modem.

Hi guys I just received a mc7700 from seirra wireless and installed it into my lenovo t430 and installed the drivers , the card works on regular 3g network, but from looking at this site :

itsays that it is possible to get it to work on AWS Band 4, 1700/2100 which is what my company uses( Wind mobile in canada), this is the same network that t mobile uses in the U.S.
Can someone please help me set this up so it will work on my aws network?

One of my friends tried this way of huawei modem unlocking pack.But she got failed and her maximum unlocking possibilities also finished.So she suggested don't try this way of unlocking.Better try any one of the online unlocking service.So i unlocked my modem with a help of SuperUnlockCodes.com I never had any problem.
