Hi Folks,
as the title says, my unbranded E173u-2 does NOT have a connector for an external antenna which is reachable from outside. Opening the device (both covers) reveals a test connector for the production by the manufacturer. This is not suitable for external connections as there is no lock for a reliable attachment of a connector. This is just meant as a supplement the above table - thanks to those who compiled it! Regards, MovingMap |

Hi All, I had purchased a Huawei e173 modem for a project purpose. I want to use it as a 3g USB modem now. Can anyone tell me the steps to do it?
I have previously tried using it with IDEA sim, Airtel sim. Windows OS detects it but I dont know how to set it up and use the connection. I am using ubuntu os.
